Club Director & Coach
I am not a Montana native. However, I enjoy how Kalispell reminds me of my hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. The mountains and snow will always be a part of my life. Volleyball quickly became a passion for me. I've participated in many city leagues, pick-up games, tournaments, sand leagues, intramurals, and open gyms in Alaska, Oregon, California and Montana. Beach volleyball is my favorite. I like to follow AVP and P1440 tournaments as well as College Volleyball matches.
My coaching experience ranges from middle school to the collegiate level. I've coached since 2011, with multiple volunteer positions from prior years. In Montana, I've coached from middle school to the Varsity level, and coached the Frosh/Sophomore team at Glacier High School from 2013-2019. While coaching one last time at Kalispell Middle School in 2020, I joined the MOA (Montana Officials Association) from 2020 to present.
Being an athlete, coach, and official have given me a stronger love for the sport and expertise of the game. My math mind naturally wants to analyze game situations and strengthen each athlete to their current potential. I truly believe in my athletes, and want the very best for each one - on and off the court. I want to be considerate of my community members, families and athletes. Their (your) time is valuable and appreciated to me.
When I am not coaching or spending time with my growing family, I love playing volleyball. I have played every position on the court, but the right side is my thing. Setting is where I have excelled the most. I look forward to instilling these same passions in your children and watching them grow this season.
Assistant Club Director & Business Manager
I started coaching in high school with a 3rd/4th grade team. I also helped my dad while he coached 5th/6th grade rotary volleyball. I graduated from Stillwater Christian School with one state championship title my senior year. During college, I participated in volleyball intramurals and other fun pick-up games. After college, I became an assistant coach, leading the JV and C teams in Hobson, MT, for two years. I took a break from coaching after my first child was born and am excited to get back into coaching girls volleyball again. During my official coaching leave, I have assisted with AAU club volleyball and other MS/HS practices in which my husband coaches.
When I am not involved with volleyball, I love spending quality time with my family. I enjoy the outdoors, farming and road trips. If I can get there by vehicle, I'm there. Whenever Peter has time, we love traveling to Washington, California, Missouri, and any other location around the United States. We want to visit as many landmarks and historical sites as we possibly can.
